Hosted by the National Institute of Marine Sciences and Technologies (INSTM), in collaboration with UNESCO-IHP, IRD, and the Ecohydrology programme, this training session addresses the growing challenge of plastic pollution in coastal environments.
Focused on the theme "Plastic monitoring of anthropized lagoons under climate change – Case of Ghar El Melh Demosite", the training highlights the ecological risks of microplastics in the Mediterranean, especially under high human pressure. Participants will explore ecohydrological monitoring methods and data gaps to develop tailored solutions for sustainable lagoon and coastal management in Tunisia.
