💧The regional group Euro Friend is organizing Session 6 of their Seminar/Training series (for experts) : 🏷️Convection-Permitting Models and their Applications for Climate Change Impact Assessment, will be presented by Elizabeth Kendon (University of Bristol / Met Office, UK). 📓This session will be perfect to learn about advances in convection-permitting models, new insights into extreme weather and regional climate responses, and their application in climate impact and adaptation planning.
On 1st October 2025, teachers and researchers will meet at Hydropolis, on the site of the UNESCO ICIREWARD Centre, partner of the project, for the second in-person working session of "Du labo à la classe". This new edition focuses on a crucial theme : water 💧. The aim? To transpose scientific articles into posters and educational activities. These materials, which are scientifically rigorous but adapted to the level of the students, then become valuable resources for secondary school teachers. The results are compiled in the "Du labo à la classe" workbooks, which are distributed on a large scale (12,000 copies for previous editions).
