Registration is open from 5 November 2015 to 6 January 2026! 📆 26 & 27 February 2026 🔎 Are you an expert in hydrology, entrepreneurship, marketing, communication, design, etc.? Sign up as a coach! Students need you for a minimum of 2 hours in person at Montpellier City Hall or remotely on Teams! 👉 Your role is essential 💡: to pass on methodology, promote collective intelligence 🤝, transform an idea into a concrete project, while preparing students for the realities of the professional world 🎓🌍.
Upcoming Session – November 12th at 3PM UTC The next session, Session 7: From Climate Change Storylines to Hydrological Impact Assessment, will be presented by Wilson Chan (UK-CEH, UK). This session will be perfect to learn about using climate change storylines to translate complex climate data into hydrological impact assessments, with practical methodologies, case studies, and strategies to support better water-related decision-making in a changing climate.
📣 The second ambitious national edition! Following a successful first edition in January 2025, which brought together 120 students from Cadi Ayyad University around the theme of ‘Water & Agriculture’, the UNESCO International Centre ICIREWARD and UCAM are relaunching the hackathon! 🇲🇦 NEW for 2025: Hybrid format (in person at Cadi Ayyad University and remotely - online on Teams) and national format, open to all universities in Morocco The winners will then be invited to participate in the international edition of the Water4Future Student Hackathon organised by ICIREWARD on 26 and 27 February 2026. 📅 Dates to remember: Hackathon: 1 and 2 December 2025 Final: Thursday 4 December 2025, to be held at the World Water Congress organised by the IWRA in Marrakech as a side event to the congress 🌍 🌱 This hackathon is much more than a competition: it is a collaborative and immersive experience to stimulate creativity, strengthen team spirit and engage young people in climate and water issues.
